Welcome to Life / Growth isn't what it's all cracked up to be / Once bearing marks of blue, chasing ideas and dreams as vast as the sky / Now covered in brown cloth and green drabs / Having once grasped for the air, only to drown in water / Emotions aren't always that great / Surfaced back up again, only to die from scorching desert heat / And nothing grows / This material lust isn't all it's cracked up to be / What fire burns inside, that makes you grasp for this and that / It's a good idea to know what you're fighting for before initiating conflict / Lisent ; you have to listen / Plants can't grow without water / Experience / You can't learn without feeling / Photosynthesis / Process your thoughts ; analyze your feelings / But most importantly : keep dreaming / It's good to be realistic ; but it's incredibly difficult to live life w/o hope / Most things don't survive without light / You need to see / Light -> Sight -> Might -> Fight-> / Have hope to climb the ropes / No joke - invoke your inner thoughts and deeper emotions / Don't let your soul be subject to corrosion / Don't give up, don't fall in the slumps ; Don't get stuck, pull yourself back up / Up and out, learn what life is all about / Gotta remember, but don't dwell on experiences / Learn from them, gotta get over suffering / But don't ignore the problems you have now / Let your thought be the catalyst, ask and answer - why? - how? / Allow yourself the room to grow / Elevate to higher levels, with something new to know /
note: i had no intention in writing any of this before i started. I simply took out a piece of paper and a pencil, then i started rambling and writing down these things. Notice it starts symbollic, then becomes lyrical. I wrote every phrase down right after i thought about it, i didn't even stop to realize what i was saying. I just allowed everything to come out 100% naturally. kool
